Navajo Coups
Navajo Coups "Cooper" is a 1994 bay noncharacteristic Appaloosa mare, who also is easy gaited.  She is a beautiful, classic looking mare with an independent nature, strong sense of self, and wonderful movement.   Navajo Coups has Ulrich breeding top and bottom, being a daughter of Ulrich Sioux Chief and Ulrich Princess A (pedigree). Every time she has been bred to a fewspot stallion, Cooper has thrown a leopard foal, and she has three generations of all leopard to leopard breeding behind her.  Even better, Cooper is a very experienced trail mount, having gone on long trail rides and camping trips, and has produced sure footed, smooth riding foals. Cooper had visited us on a lease a couple years ago, and we are absolutely thrilled to be given the opportunity to have her call our farm home. We will be doing light trail riding with Cooper, she will be teaching our daughter to ride, and she will be used for therapeutic riding for our son who has Asperger's Syndrome, plus she'll be producing some undoubtedly gorgeous foals for us! This mare is a great fit for not only our program goals but also our family and our activities, so she's about as perfect as we can get. A huge thanks goes to Kyle and Sue Magnuson of NorthStar Appaloosas for giving us this amazing opportunity!
