"Foundation horses with spots, breeding, ability, and intelligence"
We are a small farm located an hour and 15 minutes northeast of St. Paul, MN, in northwestern Wisconsin, focusing on old Appaloosa bloodlines, Appaloosa to Appaloosa breeding, athleticism, personality, conformation, and Appaloosa characteristics including easy or middle gaits. Our stallion, Sunny, is a bay dun few spot leopard who sires outstanding foals with intelligence, willing attitudes, athleticism, agility, and beauty. We are a family farm dedicated to breeding Appaloosas for your family. We also make every effort to educate ourselves as to the genetics of horses and our program and base our breeding plan on the newest genetic research (from The Appaloosa Project) as well as tried-and-true methods from other outstanding Appaloosa breeding programs. We provide concrete DNA information whenever possible. Our goal is a sound, beautiful horse, and we are also striving to breed purebred Appaloosas. Ask us about anything that you aren't sure of!

We are very excited about International Purebred Appaloosa Association. IPAA registers scientifically accepted purebred Appaloosas, and Sunny is able to sire purebred Appaloosas, in addition to Foundation Appaloosas and Appaloosa Partbreds (a registry option for all you non-Appaloosa mare owners!). Megan is the Executive Secretary for IPAA, so be sure to ask us about this exciting registry!
